The One Step HCG Pregnancy Test is an immunochromatographic assay designed for the rapid determination of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in urine. The test is used to obtain a visual qualitative result for auxiliary diagnosis of pregnancy. For in vitro self-testing use only.

Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) is a hormone, produced by the developing placenta shortly after the conception and secreted into the urine. The pregnancy test contains antibodies which specifically react with this hormone.

When the strip is immersed into a urine specimen, capillary action carries the specimen to migrate along the membrane. When HCG in the sample reaches the Test area of the membrane, it will form a colored line. Absence of this colored line suggests a negative result.

To serve as a procedure control, a colored line will appear at the Control area, if the test has been performed properly.

1.For in vitro diagnosis only.The test results should be combined with other indicators and comprehensive medical judgment .

2.If the test kit is stored in a refrigerator, it is recommended to be take it out of the refrigerator, and place it at room temperature before usage. Otherwise it will affect the test results. When removing the test from the foil pouch , please do not touch the nitrocellulose membrane in the view window.

3.Discard after first use. The test kit cannot be used more than once.

4.Do not use the test kit beyond expiry date. 

5.Do not use the kit if the pouch is punctured or is not well sealed.

6.Incorrect operation could affect the results , such as wetting the view window, insufficient urine amount, or excessive urine amount and so on. 

7. Reading the result over 5 minutes will be invalid .

8.Urine specimens may be infectious.Insure proper handing and discard all used devices according to the local regulations.
