Product Description

The procalcitonin Detection Kit (Fluorescence immunochromatography method) utilizes immunofluorescence quantitative testing technology and immunochromatography technology, and adopts the principle of double antibody sandwich method to conduct in vitro quantitative detection of procalcitonin in human whole blood, plasma and serum. When the sample is dropped into the sample loading hole of the test card, the procalcitonin in the sample combines with the fluorescor-labeled procalcitonin antibody pre-coated on the glass fiber to form a reaction complex. The reaction complex moves forward along the nitrocellucellulose membrane with the chromatographic action and is captured by the procalcitonin antibody pre-coated at the detection line position of the nitrocellucellulose membrane. The capture amount of procalcitonin in the sample is positively correlated with the signal intensity of the fluorescent antibody. Under the action of the excitation light source, the fluorescent substance emits a fluorescence signal of a specific wavelength. The fluorescence immunoanalyzer captures the fluorescence signal and automatically converts it into a quantitative value through signal conversion and the set calibration curve. The concentration of procalcitonin in the sample is calculated. Realize the quantitative detection of procalcitonin in serum, plasma or whole blood samples.
