Product Description

This product is used for the in vitro quantitative detection of the content of D-Dimer in human whole blood and plasma samples. D-dimer is a specific degradation product produced by the cross-linking of fibrin monomers with activating factor XIII and then hydrolyzed by plasminase. It is a specific marker of the fibrinolysis process. When the body undergoes coagulation, thrombin acts on fibrin to transform it into cross-linked fibrin. At the same time, the fibrinolysis system is activated to degrade fibrin and form various fragments. The γ chain can connect two fragments containing D fragments to form a D-dimer. The increase in D-dimer levels represents the formation of blood clots in the vascular circulatory system and is a sensitive marker of acute thrombosis. Clinically, it is mainly used for the auxiliary diagnosis of excluding venous thrombosis and disseminated intravascular coagulation, as well as the monitoring of thrombolytic therapy. At present, the detection methods for D-Dimer products include enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, latex particle agglutination test and immunoturbidimetry, etc. This product quantitatively detects the content of D-Dimer in samples by using immunofluorescence quantitative testing technology and immunochromatography technology, and is suitable for point-of-care testing (POCT) and diagnosis in emergency departments.
